Mingshuo MS-104 Conversion Absorption Activated Carbon Multifunctional Fine Desulfurizer
I. Performance introduction
Ordinary activated carbon desulfurizers can only remove H2S and cannot remove organic sulfur. MS-104 type conversion and absorption activated carbon fine desulfurizer is made of high-quality raw materials, active additives, through molding, drying, and carbonization. The active components are impregnated according to different uses and special tenants to remove the COS, CS2 and other types of organic sulfur. It has the dual functions of simultaneously converting organic sulfur and removing inorganic sulfur, with high removal precision and large sulfur capacity. It can be widely used for organic sulfur removal from natural gas, oil field gas, methanol synthesis gas, coke oven gas, CO2 gas and etc.
II. Reaction principles
CS2 + H2O H2S + CO2 COS + H2O H2S + CO2
CS2 + O2 S + CO2 H2S + O2 S + H2O
H2S + MeO = MeS + H2O COS + MeO = MeS + CO2
CS2 + MeO = 2MeS + CO2 (Me represents active metal component in the reaction formula)
COS and CS2 in the raw gas are converted into H2S under the action of MS-104 type conversion absorption activated carbon. And then H2S reacts with O2 in the feed gas to form elemental sulfur, which is deposited in the micropores of activated carbon, or the sulfides react with active component directly to form a high boiling point, highly stable complex, which is then adsorbed into the micropores of the activated carbon.

IV. Main features
Ordinary activated carbon, iron oxide and other desulfurizers can only remove H2S at high temperatures. Organic sulfur cannot be removed or fully removed. Although MT103 can remove COS, its sulfur capacity is low, while MS-104 can not only finely removes H2S, but also fine remove COS, CS2. Its desulfurization accuracy of H2S, COS, and CS2 are ≤ 0.03 ppm, enables total sulfur ( H2S + COS + CS2) ≤ 0.1 ppm.
At present, the hydrolysis catalyst is difficult to remove CS2 below 100°C, while the MS-104 conversion absorption multifunctional fine desulfurizer has a good removal effect of CS2 at normal temperature.
