Product Description

The MT-1 Series Iron Oxide Desulfurizer is a high-performance, ambient temperature desulfurizer with iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) as the main active ingredient, adding a variety of different accelerators. It has high sulfur capacity, high purification efficiency, and good strength, no mudding when it meets water, making it ideal for continuous industrial applications.
Desulfurization mechanism:
Dissociation of hydrogen sulfide into HS-, S2- ions on the surface of the water film on the surface of the desulfurizing agent;
H₂S = HS^- + H⁺           (1)
HS^- = S^2- + H⁺            (2)
HS- and S2- ions are substituted with lattice ions (O2-) of iron oxide to produce Fe2S3-H2O;
Fe₂O₃·H₂O+3HS^- +3 H+=Fe₂S₃·H₂O+3H₂O (3)
Fe₂O₃·H₂O+3S^2- +6 H+=Fe₂S₃·H₂O+3H₂O  (4)
