Desulfurizing agent is a high-efficiency gas purifying agent which is processed by taking iron oxide as the main active component and adding other promoters. Between 20 ºC and 100 ºC, it has a high removal performance for argon sulfide, and also has a certain removal effect for mercaptan organic sulfur and most atmospheric oxides.
Iron oxide desulfurizer is mainly used for fine desulfurization of city gas, gas used in chemical fertilizer and other chemical industries or synthetic feed gas. It can also be used for the removal of hydrogen sulfide in water gas, coke oven gas, oil field gas and waste gas of metallurgy, textile, chemical fiber, light industry, military industry, electronics, environmental protection and other departments.
The iron oxide desulfurizer has the characteristics of simple equipment, convenient operation, high purification, small bed resistance, strong adaptability, fast desulfurization, high sulfur capacity and no secondary pollution. It can remove hydrogen sulfide with high accuracy even under harsh conditions such as no oxygen and no ammonia.

Activity: when the gas contains h and s10g / m, it can be desorbed to less than 1ppm sulfur capacity within a few seconds: when the outlet HS is less than 1ppm, the working sulfur capacity is more than 30% (weight); when the outlet HS is less than 20mg / m, the working sulfur capacity is more than 40% (weight); when the outlet HS is less than 50mg / m, the working sulfur capacity is more than 50% (weight)
2. Main reaction principle of desulfurization regeneration:
Fe,0·H0+3H,S=FeS·H0+3HO (1)
Fe,0·H0+3H,S=2FeS+S+4H0 (2)
When the desulfurizer is alkaline, the reaction proceeds to the right according to formula (1). When the desulfurizer is acidic, the reaction is carried out according to formula (2). When the desulfurizer is regenerated at normal temperature, the iron sulfide generated in reaction (1) is easy to regenerate. The regeneration reaction is carried out according to the following formula.
Fe.S·H.0+3/20=Fe0.·H.0+3S(3)
If the molecular ratio of the oxidizing and sulfurizing atmosphere in the gas to be desulfurized is > 2.5, the breaking and regeneration are carried out simultaneously. Therefore, it is conducive to the normal use of the iron oxide desulfurizer under the conditions of oxygen and alkaline atmosphere.
