Biogas Purification System of Membrane Separation Method

Membrane technology is becoming more and more important for CO₂ separation from biogas in the new era due to its process simplicity, relative ease of operation and control, compact, and easy to scale up compared with conventional processes. Conventional process such as adsorption for CO₂ from biogas is generally more energy demanding and costly for both operation and maintenance. Polymeric membranes are the current commercial membranes used for CO₂ separation from biogas.

Biogas membrane purification equipment is a kind of biogas engineering equipment which removes carbon dioxide from methane (or landfill gas) by advanced hollow fiber. The utility model is suitable for purification of methane and landfill gas. The purified biogas can be used as the substitution of natural gas. The methane concentration can reach above 95%.
