Gas Water Separator for Biogas Dehydration

The biogas contains a large quantity of moisture when it is being produced from anaerobic fermentation device, which may cause double-phase flow of separated water inside the distribution system due to such reasons as temperature, pressure changes and decrease of dew point etc. resulting in greater resistance of the system and even the plugging of the pipes. The function of the separator is to remove the moisture by gravitational method to eliminate any possible potential hazards that may occur to the system.

Our company has successfully developed the unique material filling system based on principle of gravitational method to disperse the gas and liquid into many tiny bubbles, drips and liquid membranes, increasing contact area of gas and liquid which will more effectively remove free moisture in the biogas. Meanwhile the filling materials have good chemical stability which ensures the materials will not be corroded by gas or liquid while keeping a given flame-resistance. The proper voidage will reduce the gas resistance. Besides, it has good mechanical strength. The moisture removing rate could be up to over 80%.
