Iron-based Nutrient Solution for Hydrogen Sulfide Removal
The Iron-based Nutrient Solution fuctions as a catalyst for wet oxidation of hydrogen sulfide. It is characterized of converting H2S into elemental sulfur directly. This process has advantages of simple operation, adjustable sulfur capacity, flexibility and non-toxicity.
In this desulfurization solution, the soluable polymer is used as a stable component of the complexing agent system. The iron element is stably exsisted in the ionic state in the alkaline solution, and the iron ion precipitation caused by the degradation of the complexing agent is effectively reduced. The redox potential of Fe3+ is moderate in the weak alkaline solution. Fe3+ will directly oxide the HS- to sulfur in the desulfurization process.
The homogeneous reaction rate is fast, which fundamentaly eliminates the direct contact between HS- and oxygen during the regeneration process, so that the sulfur generation rate is high and secondary salt formation rate is extremely low.

The purification treatment of hydrogen sulfide can achieve a sulfur recovery rate of 99%.
