Description 889 Wet Desulfurization Catalyst
Apprearance bluish grey powder
Insoluble substance less than 3.0%
Density 0.96+(-)0.05 g/cm3
Activity >=0.2min-1
Characteristics good solubility in water or alkaline solution, 
Advantage non toxic and corrosivity, can bulk removal H2S to 50mg/Nm3, can removal H2S concentration between 5~50g/Nm3. removal both of inorganic and organic sulfur. Easy operation and cost-effective.
Application Mainly used for H2S removal from biogas, fertilizer factory gas, alkaline factory gas, brewery and pharm factory etc..

Mechasim:
HS- react with complexing ferric salt, HS- was oxidized elemental sulfur, while
Fe3+L was reducted to Fe2+L, and oxidized into Fe3+L again after inject air into regenerating tank, thus cyclic sulfur removal was realized.
1). H2S (g) →H2S 
2). Fe3+(L)+OH- →Fe3+(OH-)(L)
3). H2S(l)+Fe3+(OH-)(L)→Fe3+(SH-)(EDTA)+H2O
4). Fe3+(SH-)(L)+Fe3+(OH-)(L)→[Fe3+(L)]2S2-+H2O
5). [Fe3+(L)]2S2-→2Fe2+(L)+S
Remark: L is complex compound


Complexing desulfurizer is complex of transition metal and ligand, while transition metal provide empty orbit, and ligand provide lone pair electrons, which formed the stable complexing system. Due to the cost-effective, wet oxidation desulfurization widely used in industrial area.
