Environmentally Friendly H2S Removal Adsorbents for Shale Gas

Hydrogen sulfide is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula of H2S. Normally, it is a colorless, flammable acid gas. Hydrogen sulfide is naturally found in crude oil, natural gas, volcanic gases, and hot springs.

It's flammable, toxic to the human body, polluted to the environment, and corrosive to metal equipment, so it must be removed from gas streams, such as biogas, natural gas, shale gas, oilfield associated gas, tail gas, flue gas and etc.

MT series iron oxide desulfurizer is mainly used in hydrogen sulfide containing water gas, semi-water gas,
coke oven gas, natural gas, liquefied gas, waste gas and oilfield associated gas for the industries of biogas,
city gas, fertilizer, coking, citric acid, winery, metallurgy, textile, light industry, electronics and
environmental protection etc. This series of products also has the characteristics of simple equipment,
convenient operation, strong adaptability and small bed resistance.

It's characterized by a high degree of purification and high intensity. Moreover, it won't become clay with water, so widely used in natural gas, oil field gas, methane gas, coke oven gas, semi water gas, water gas and other gases in the removal of hydrogen sulfide.

Working principles
Fe₂O₃ · H₂O + 3H₂S = Fe₂S₃ · H₂O + 3H₂O
FeOOH +2H₂S = FeSSH + 2H₂O

The H2S is changed chemically through an environmentally friendly reaction resulting in a non-hazardous solid waste and water. No negative residual chemistry / compounds in the gas stream to cause scaling, foaming or block downstream equipment.
